Jen takes refuge in a rundown mansion when her life falls apart. To escape reality she finds herself choosing between the world of the living and the dead. She begins having vivid experiences with a beautiful male entity who longs to be her soul mate.

Chaos was already breaking out; and the world was in danger of slipping back to a time of great darkness, reminiscent of the Middle Ages. In the quiet of early dawn she hears his distant voice "you are beautiful. I love you always"....

Dark Passage is an amazing paranormal story filled with plenty of mystery, intrigue, and eeriness. Author M.L. Woolley did a wonderful job of storytelling by using the POVs (point of views) of several of the characters; some who are evil and some who are good. Yes, this book is also scary with evil and hideous creatures while also having sweet and loving moments between the hero and heroine, Bill and Jen. There are surprises and twists to the storyline which are totally unexpected. Can't wait for the next book in the series!
